Celtic Avenger

The ship is built from steel in 1984 in Venice (Lloyds register class +100 A1 LMC).It has since been upgraded with a state af the art ballast system and some extremely efficient fire-fighting equipment for the engine room.

The ship has a 55' deck, and is   4,8 meters wide.  There are 2 mashines (84 HK) and 2 propellas. A lifting keel provides a  depth of a mere 1,60 meters. The keel is normally at a depth of 2,20 meters.

The ship has rollergear for schoonersail,  main sail and Genua,  which facilitates easy reefing even when the weather is poor.

There are 8 bunks available on board.

There's a gas oven. Hot and cold water. A fridge and a deepfreezer. A 6 KW generator provides 24 og 220 V. power.

The ship has an extensive freshwater and diesel capacity (approx. 1700/2500 liters) and there's also a  "watermaker" producing 70 l/hr.

There's a liferaft for 10 people. Handheld Watermaker.  Including vests and lifelines, epirp 406/121,5.  A  radar, a satellite radio,  a short waveradio, stationary VHF with  DSC, and handheld VHF, autopilot, 2 self containing brinting apparatus, various forms of diving equipment, allso dive kompressor. GPS, AIS and SSB with "Pactor 3 modem" for Grip files and e-mail. Solarpanels and shaft generator and vindgenerator
